About Jaime Shine

I love to write. While most kids were playing with blocks or dolls, I was publishing magazines and newspapers – feature articles, ads, sports box scores, the whole nine yards. From promotions director to advertising roles to branding projects, I’ve always been interested in all forms of marketing. That interest blossomed into a career path and led me to open my own business, which has always been a dream of mine. And I’d love to work my magic for you. Check out my company's services, discover more about me or chime in on my blog, covering a variety of topics, at http://jaimeshine.com.

  1. Hi Jaime, Helpful post! I love baseball movies too, and Field of Dreams is one of my top favorites. As mentioned on Google + (thanks for your comment there!) my niece Jane has just launched her own blog – Live On … In Style at http://liveoninstyle.weebly.com/
I’m going to share this post with her! Thanks for the great tips!

    • Thanks for reading, Carol! It’s great to meet a fellow baseball movie fan. Thanks for sharing the post with your niece and for sharing her new blog URL. I read her post earlier, CCC readers, and she’s definitely worth following. Go check out her blog!

  2. hi ! I have used that quote as well.. but it isn’t so automatic as that is it ?? I am doing a lot of what you say but also need to pay attention to the non social hints.
My blog started as a business blog but morphed into something quite personal and I got followers from that. I do tweet the posts and pinterest the posts and talk about it in my newsletter.

    • Thanks for visiting, Terry! I hopped over to your blog and am looking forward to your posts. It can be frustrating trying to attract attention at first. I noticed a big change when I became consistent with my publishing schedule. It helps the search engines know when to look for your blog and cues readers to come back regularly. Good luck with your blog! Let me know if you have any questions. I’d be happy to help!
